It has been absolutely pleasant writing for the last couple of months and it has been fun. But like everything, it come to an end. The season for poems is slowly fading away but there is nothing to worry for there is always that little bit of cloud in your mind that will propel you to express yourself. I will be back soon with new poems when the poetry season starts again. Have a good life everyone.

Life and The Freedom PART TWO
PART TWO
The kites fell down on the ground as bees flew out and,
Stung everyone who they found in their path.
I got up and decided to take a little walk,
But then as he knows I had to stop.
The Bird waited in the cage,
Master came by.
Patted its head,
And went without saying a goodbye.
Sun shone brightly on the road,
And created a mirage according to me.
Clouds moved away,
Allowing the sun to have his day.
The door was locked,
And the key was gone.
So like a prisoner I cursed him and,
Went back to my bunk and contemplated all the junk.
People ran away,
As the bees had a bad day.
Some bees fell on the ground,
For their stinger was a freedom not to be used.
The Bird stay perched all day long,
Trying to make up its mind.
While the clouds tried to play hide and seek with the sun,
But they lost.
Banging the door,
I yelled out loud.
But nothing ever did happen,
And I lay on the floor waiting for him to come.

Life and The Freedom
PART ONE
I want to run in circles,
Till I feel intoxicated.
Till the world stops rotating,
And the bird flies, escaping from her cage.
Never had it felt that it could fly so high,
Always a dream to say a goodbye.
Just look at the kite fly by,
Controlled like a puppet in the sky.
Clouds move fast like smoke in the heaven,
But they would never come down to Earth.
For if you want to roam free,
Just take a big leap and fly away.
As the bird looked back at its cage,
The stinging thought of food struck it.
Flying back down from a height,
It dived into the cage.
As I stopped spinning,
The pain knocked in.
I fell on the ground,
With a painful realisation dawning upon me.
The kite was cut down,
It flew down in freedom.
But before it knew,
It crash-dived into a hive.
So for all the clouds that were floating away,
Were pushed aside by the big yellow sun.
No freedom comes just like that,
Every thing here is a bait.

The Girl With the Purple Umbrella part three

PART THREE
The station now lay empty,
No one in sight.
She lay down the umbrella and walked,
Slow, fast and faster her footsteps ran.
A man came out of the station,
And saw the girl running away.
Not bothering to make a run,
He just cursed.
Something had been taken from him,
The purplish devil lay away from him.
He walked and covered the distance,
As the inanimate object stared at him silently from a distance.
Silence corroded the building,
As the girls footsteps were heard from a distance.
Nothing followed no one,
The man had been given back his item.
Yes indeed, the girl had been a thief,
But nobody would have even thought of it.
Now now...who are we to judge,
For the guy in the sky plays that part.
Thus she came to be known as,
The Girl With The Purple Umbrella.
The Girl With The Purple Umbrella,
She was called.

The Girl With The Purple Umbrella part two

PART TWO
They both crossed the road,
Their faces glowed.
The boy thanks the girl,
And she went away like a blur.
On the other side,
People stared at her as if she were the tour-guide.
And suddenly a long lost respect,
Caught the people's eyes.
They adored her,
For being such a moral booster.
In the times of grey,
There is always some day.
She helped people pass the road,
But never did she boast.
For the guy in the sky takes note,
Whenever you do good work without accepting a bow.
Finally when she thought,
All had been helped.
A guy called for help and it so turned out that he was a mailman,
And hence she lead the way again.
Thus she came to be known as,
The Girl With The Purple Umbrella.
The Girl With The Purple Umbrella,
She was called.

The Girl With The Purple Umbrella part one

PART ONE
The Gods must have been happy,
For it was fairly sunny.
But then someone somewhere did somebody wrong,
It hit the Gods like a thorn.
And it started to rain,
People ran between shades.
And the hustle for shade began,
A girl stood in a corner.
She looked nothing more than a beggar,
But it must have been her eyes.
That caught the people lies,
Some ran away from her as if she were a bad dime.
A kid asked her,
If she would take him to the bus-stop.
Even as they stood on the station,
Buses passed.
Holding the boys hand,
She led the way.
A Purple Umbrella in her hand,
All the others stood at bay.
Thus she came to be known as,
The Girl With The Purple Umbrella.
The Girl With The Purple Umbrella,
She was called.

Give Life a Bigger Hug
![]() |
| Source |
Watching around me as the sun comes,
brightly down from the heaven.
Not giving it another thought,
And instead freezing right on the spot.
For I realise that this world is beautiful,
And I can make it wonderful,
Give life just a bigger hug,
Push away all your worries to another world.
Don't you look at the clock,
For it goes Tick-Tock.
Just bring up all the memories,
And play it like a movie.
For the time that you are given is limited,
Make your life a blissful gift.
Oh don't you get it?
Just deep breathe and take this world.
For I realise that this world is beautiful,
And I can make it wonderful,
Give life just a bigger hug,
Push away all your worries to another world.
Don't you shy away from the night,
Just turn on a light.
And it will be sunny side up,
For the darkness goes blushing away.
Oh is your brain full of thoughts?,
Just drain it down like a teapot.
Make a wish and shout out loud,
Share your happiness with the globe.
For I realise that this world is beautiful,
And I can make it wonderful,
Give life just a bigger hug,
Push away all your worries to another world.

A Person's Will
There had always been a ray,
But now it seems that it’s all at the bay.
Not to allow a tear to fall
For its all gone.
Dreams are all that survive,
Without needing any might.
Just take a walk down dreamville,
Where they say it’s all in the person’s will.
Go take charge,
You can make through March.
For the winter can’t stop you,
But don’t allow it to make you hollow.
Some goals are big,
Worries small.
Happiness huge,
But must you mind?

Summer Rush
![]() |

Stars shining right above me,
Yet I am unable to hold em'.
The sky seems so wide,
Yet there is no space for dreams.
A Ray of sunlight spills through the clouds,
But does not penetrate my doubts.
Trying to feel the warmth of the sun,
But somebody forgot to turn off the snowfall.
Here I stand on the platform,
As the train goes past me into the hailstorm.
Lightning shrikes the daylight out of the night,
As I try to get some insight.
Don't know when the rains will stop,
And if I will need a mop.
I should be patient for now,
And as it is I have sweat my brow.
Following dreams is tough,
No wonder you need to bluff.
Just hold on steady,
And we will get past this summer rush.

Tearful Joy

Every time she looked out of her window,
It was a sunny day.
But then she saw him right outside on the street,
And it all was no longer a treat.
She had set him up with another girl,
Cause honey life had always been a blur.
The time that she had been allotted here was limited,
However she only wanted to see him happy unlimited.
The old man had known about it for years,
Never thought that seeing his daughter go would bring out the tears,
He held onto to the past like broken glass
And it all now started to seem like a faded out past.
But alas, man never held the full glass,
Emptiness was to seep in like sand in an hourglass.
For no man was built to be full,
Every man went out without a handful.

Nevers of Life
![]() |

But never did the river stop it's flow.
Never has there been a rainless year,
And never shall life be a greyish colour.
Never was the change so defined and bland,
And nor do I remember when I started walking without a hand.
All that remains is me until the day the sand comes up to me,
Till that day I am going to stay a winner.
Never did I hear what love was,
But how does it matter life can't be given a pause now.
Going to just go with the flow,
Till the river goes to the falls.
And then I would look back at the world,
Waive a good bye and poke up a finger.
Never would I be winning life over,
So how about going beaming like it was clever.

Start
![]() |
| Source |
The monsoon has descended on the plains,
Showers have relieved the flowers of the sweltering heat.
Love is meant to soar in the air,
Just like a girl pours out her heart to her man.
A season of life has begun,
Path of life shall never be bludgeon.
Blood and sand were here from the start,
Only life lived for others is meaningful here.
Don't stop even if you are heart is full,
Do not allow the sky to make you dull.
Never did the grey affect him,
Nor shall you have to start over to win.
Life goes on for those who live,
And nothing was ever as meaningful as him.
So whenever you feel lost,
Just remember that start has long gone.
